Master of Education in Literacy

The Education Department offers a variety of programs for educators with a teaching license to advance their skills with new courses, certificates, licenses or an M.Ed. degree.  Programs include non-credit, credit and licensure options, along with customized pathways toward earning a Master's degree.

Learning Community Model

This Program is delivered through a learning community. Participants meet together one weekend a month. Interacting with a group of peers at periodic intervals provides students time and space to examine issues thoughtfully and collaboratively – creating a community of learning that’s self-sustaining. Each cohort is facilitated by Education faculty and instructors with deep experience in the field.

An exceptional Value

This high-quality, affordable program includes first-rate practicum experiences, job-embedded learning opportunities and instructors from the field to support your development in your selected program of study. You'll gain real-world experience to help further your career.
